Steven Tingle moved into his stylish home in Millfold Rise at Westgate in October 2023.

The town centre location and the short distance to the train station, M1 and Parkway made it the ideal location for his new home.

Having previously lived in Sheffield, he was surprised to discover that he could purchase a property in an upcoming town centre at such an affordable price.

Steven, who works in the travel industry, said:

“I was living in Sheffield and looked at various locations there and in Rotherham, including around Kelham Island which was so expensive and most properties were apartments.

I came and had a look around Millfold Rise, which was in my price range, and heard about all the plans for the town centre.

My parents live in Swinton and so it’s nice to be close to them.

When the Forge Island development is finished and opened later this year, it will be a fantastic reason for so many people to visit the town centre. I can’t wait to see it finished.”
